Menora

A small, beautiful stately suburb also desigend around the Garden Suburb principles directly to the influenced by WE Bold, the Town Clerk of the City of Perth who actively promoted both the Garden City movement and the Town Planning Movement in Perth both before and after WW1.
Because of these principles of the garden suburb, Menora boasts green streets and parks within walking distance of all residents and a curvilinear street system.
As Menora was developed over a relatively extended period, it has a varied residential character.
The suburb contains a large number of stunning character homes, with many buildings having significant heritage and cultural value. Architectural styles range from Californian bungalow to art-deco, post-war and international-style. Exploring this beautiful suburb you will discover breathtaking properties with meticulous attention to detail when it comes to their gardens. This is one the reasons why real estate in Menora is hard to come by.
Menora is also home to Alexander Park Tennis Club which was voted the Best Tennis Club in Western Australia in 2012, 2015 and 2017 and the Best Tennis Club in Australia in 2015.
Both Menora and Coolbinia once formed part of Mount Lawley but were subsequently divided into the present day suburbs they are now in 1954 and 1953 respectively. Both the Menora and Coolbinia communities are very tight knit.
